Cannes
Known around the world for its film festival, the red carpet and the movie stars, Cannes is a place to be seen.
Its world famous bay with sandy beach, the Croisette, palace hotels, yacht harbour and deluxe boutiques have all set the reputation of this town.
Yet a part of the city remains authentic with the harbour, the Citadel, the Lérins Islands, museums and gardens.
Cannes is also a major meeting-point for enthusiast sailors with its “Salon Nautique”, prestigious regattas and sailing events.
The city is very lively all year long but mostly in the summer with several festivals and night entertainment.
