ACADEMIC YEAR PROGRAMME

*Academic year programme from January to June and from September to December, the summer break it is not included in the programme. We offer with an extra cost different possibilities:

  • Semesters:

January 8th 2011 – June 4th 2011
September 3rd 2011 – February 4th 2012
January 7th 2012 – June 9th 2012

  • Trimesters / Other durations:

Anytime from September to April for 4, 6, 8 and 12 week programmes.

 

Weekend and Holiday trips

  • Please note that for any absence of the student from the host family for 1 or more nights, a special request for parental authorization must be filled out and sent to Education en France at least 1 week in advance. Education en France reserves the right to deny authorization for a request not received in the proper time-frame.
  • All requests must include the travel details: dates, times, mean of transportation, as well as the name, address and phone number of the person or place of accommodation and of the adult person in charge.
  • Education en France reserves the right to deny any uncomplete or not suitable request.
  • Please note that underage students cannot be accommodated in hotel or youth hostel alone and must be accompanied by an adult (18 + in France).
  • The non respect of Education en France’s code of conduct will be penalised by a warning of conduct. Education en France keeps the right to expel the student to his/her country of origin in case of consecutive no respect of the Code of Conduct (3 warnings or less according to the seriousness of the student’s behaviour).
  • Students are authorized to travel back to their home country or with their parents, family or friends during the Christmas holidays and the Easter holidays only.
  • Students are allowed to travel back to their home countries if they have spent at least 3 months in France.
  • No travel authorization will be given outside of saturday / sunday or the official school holiday dates of the placement area.

 

 

School holidays and Optional holiday programmes

  • Education en France students shall not return home or receive visit of their native families during the fall holidays (if arrival is September), or the winter holidays (if arrival is January).
  • During each school holiday (except Christmas) we offer various opportunities for students who wish to either discover a new area of France, have fun in some amusement parks, improve their French, or prepare for exams.
  • A description of the various options is given to the students upon arrival or during the stay. These programmes are not included in the price of the Academic Programme.
